Can you see in the dark? Clarity assists your sight.

I recently drove to Niagra Falls for a day trip. My wife and I hooked our 600-pound camper on the back of our car, and off we went. Three and half hour drive, no problem. The trip was a blast. To zip line is to live. Furthermore, taking in one of the world’s wonders humbles the soul.

Still, my mind was cloudy with all this beauty and a wonderful weekend. My mind wasn’t at rest.

We walk by faith

Clarity is everything. It wasn’t until this morning, after a workout and meditation session, that I became aware of my chaotic thoughts. The mind is like noon and midnight when it comes to busyness and calmness. The gift of a sound mind is priceless. It doesn’t come from outside of you. Clarity comes from within. It doesn’t have resistance and is full of peace.

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.”

2 CORINTHIANS 5:7

The vision that comes from your soul can be beautiful. I’m guilty of outside distractions, whether by phone, social media, thoughts, television, or unintentional conversations. When we are brave enough to listen and add actions to what we hear from that small quiet voice from within, we are moving in freedom.

“Clarity is the moment we see without opening our eyes.” —Stephanie Banks
