Coping with Adversity

It was said by Rudyard Kipling If you can meet with triumph and disaster and treat those two impostors just the same; the earth is yours and everything that’s in it and which is more you’ll be a man my son. This leads us to one of the many gifts God’s Spirit gives to all believers, a calm mind.

Love, power and a sound balanced mind are significant because everything starts in the heart and mind, we need to keep our minds and hearts pure. We don’t want to pollute our most precious gift. The heart and mind is where life flows. We want to come daily to God and drink. We want to fill our mind with positivity and truth. Light. Where better to get this light than from the author of lights. God.

In the digital age, it’s easy to get caught up with Tik Tok, Facebook, Instagram, the News, TV Programs, Netflix, etc., and not fill ourselves with the living words of God. All other mediums can be a distraction that takes us further away from peace of mind. A calm mind is momentous.

“Look at misfortune the same way you look at success: Don’t panic. Do your best and forget the consequences.”
